Sardine

That's what I will be when I go to Japan. I was just looking at the Waseda Uni website and I found out that the room I will most likely be staying in is only 10m squared! That's.... that's.... smaller than my bedroom! And smaller than one of the bathrooms too! Eeeeeeek!

Eh, it will be ok though... an experience! Most likely I won't be spending much time there, anyway. At least it won't be as hard to clean... maybe. If all my stuff fits there, that is :S

    Hehe, interesting~~
Seems like a nice enough place, if a bit spartan.. and cramped!

hehe, spartan? And, well, i've heard that a lot of Japanese accomodation is like that spacewise.

Indeed! Spartan! Hopefully without the massive pit, but I suppose I could put up with naked women running around everywhere... (unlike the pit, this fact is true. The women used to exercise naked!)

    haha~

as did the men <.<... but yeah daniel, that would be very interesting ;). But anyways, you'll have a great time, and I'm sure you'll get used to the spaciousness of your accommodation, women or no :P

well japanese woman are thin as a stick so im sure you'll manage with a 10sqm room! haha
well to make u feel better when i went out one night with some uni ppl, we met in a friends room/(unit) beforehand, who lives in Lincoln College which is accross the road from adl uni and her room was kinda small as well so im sure you'll get use to it.
i guess everything in japanese is 'smaller' i mean look at the city, floor size its very small but airspace wise, its massive :P
looks pretty flash, so its gonna be a brand new building by the time u get there...

    >.> What will I 'manage' with? Please do elaborate... :P

And yeah, I am glad that it's gonna be a new building... that means it will be very earthquake proof!!
